RADIUS – NO OTHER SHOWS FOR THREE WEEKS BEFORE OR TWO AFTER Your band cannot play any shows in the Boston/Cambridge/Allston/Brighton/Jamaica Plain/Brookline/Newton/Natick area within 3 weeks before or 2 weeks after your Harpers Ferry date.  This is to ensure a MAXIMUM attendance at your Harpers Ferry gig.  In addition you may not list your next Boston area (see above) appearance on your webpage or any emails nor printed flyer materials until AFTER your Harpers Ferry date is played.  Also to ensure MAXIMUM attendance.  Failure to comply with this will severely impact whether and how quickly we bring you back to Harpers Ferry and may result in your band not being paid for your performance.  PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS Your band is EXPECTED to provide the following Promotional Materials – failure to do so will likely result in us not taking your next request to play the club very seriously, unless you mob the place with thirsty fans. **Posters – Please send Posters to the Venue Harpers Ferry 158 Brighton Ave Allston MA 02134 ATTN:  Posters Enclosed **Please email us a 300 DPI COLOR JPEG OF THE BAND immediately upon receipt of gig confirmation.  If you don't have one GET ONE!  PLEASE INSURE THAT THE NAME OF YOUR BAND IS CLEARLY IN THE FILE NAME OF THE JPEG.  Example:  joeschmoeband300dpicolor.jpg **Please email us a 2-3 sentence description of the band for our webpage and emailer, make it sexy so that a total stranger will want to see your band based on reading it - see www.harpersferryboston.com for ideas.  Include a webpage as well.  TICKETING / WEB PAGE Please immediately post the show on your webpage, and include Ticketing Link/info to www.harpersferryboston.com - tickets can be purchased in advance at harpersferryboston.com or 1-800-594-TIXX (8499) Please include links and ticketing info in all outgoing email promotion and encourage your fans to buy advance tix. MERCH Harpers Ferry does not sell, nor do we commission merch.  100% to artist/artist sells - Club will provide a clean, well lit, high visibility area and a table for artist to set up merch display. DRESSING ROOM Please don't trash the dressing room, it is provided as a space for your band to chill before and after your performance.  You may be ejected or your band may not be payed if you are caught trashing the dressing room.  PARKING There are very few legal spots behind the club.  Please immediately upon arrival, check in with the Soundperson to insure you are parked in a legal spot.  If you are parked illegally, YOU WILL BE TOWED.  Harpers Ferry assumes no liability for any towed band vehicles.  If you are travelling in anything larger than a Van, please advance parking with hall manager Andy Wolan at the club at least 2 days prior to the show date.  STREET TEAM/POSTERING/FLYERING POSTERING AND FLYERING ON PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY IS ILLEGAL AND PUNISHABLE BY A FINE OF $300 PER INCIDENT.  THAT INCLUDES TELEPHONE POLLS, LAMPPOSTS, MAILBOXES, ELECTRIC BOXES, PHONE BOOTHS ETC. ACCEPTANCE OF A GIG AT HARPERS FERRY CONNOTES ASSUMPTION BY ARTIST OF ANY FINES LEVIED FOR UNLAWFUL FLYERING AND POSTERING.  INCLUDING FINES LEVEED AFTER THE GIG IS PLAYED.  WE WILL COME AFTER YOU WITH A VENGEANCE AND YOU WILL PAY!!!!!!! Please instruct your street teams to NOT POST FLYERS OF ANY KIND PUBLICLY in Boston.  Even if they saw some other band do it for some other club DON’T DO IT!!! NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IT IS EXPRESSLY ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS TO BRING YOUR OWN ALCOHOL INTO THE CLUB.  IF YOU ARE CAUGHT BRINGING YOUR OWN ALCOHOL INTO THE CLUB, YOU MAY BE EJECTED. ILLICIT SUBSTANCES CONSUMPTION OF ILLICIT SUBSTANCES ON STAGE OR IN DRESSING ROOM IS NOT ONLY ILLEGAL BUT MAY BE GROUNDS FOR IMMEDIATE VIOLATION OF ANY AGREEMENT BASED ON THIS OFFER, per the laws of the State of Massachusetts.  We are pretty laid back in general, but please instruct artist that until such time as drugs are legalized, drug use on the premises of Harpers Ferry is expressly illegal.
